With Halloween a couple of days away, CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) posted a blog by Kimberly Daniels warning Americans to forgo celebrating Halloween.
The blog post reads “During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.”
That’s right, WITCHES.
Yup, Mars and Willy Wonka have hired witches to curse you, or at least that’s what Kimberly Daniels investigation has discovered. (Not really, I doubt there was any kind of research done)
This scary story continues, “Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference.”
Whether the kids are getting their candy from your neighbors or from 7-11, this candy is still tainted by witch prayer.
I was going to the post in this article, but as I try to upload my article it appears as though the CBN has decided to take down the post. Here’s the link anyway, as you can see the name of the article and the author are apart of the link.
I wonder if this was meant to be a parody of a story or whether CBN was being serious.
I wonder if it’s okay to start eating the candy not labeled as Halloween candy.
In our economy, I wonder if witches can find a job once Halloween has passed.
I wonder what the witches’ resume looked like as they applied for the job.
I wonder how much Wonka pays for that position. Do they have on the job training? Is there health insurance, or do the witches have to stick with magic if they get sick? I wonder if the witch doctors accept Bluecross Blueshield.
Seriously, instead of warning parents about the health dangers of too much sugar, CBN is warning against witches and demons.
