Who Are 'YOU' ???

Have you ever noticed that while most people have a whole “range” of emotions, everyone seems to gravitate towards one “specific” emotion? One of my co-workers always has a big smile on her face and always seems to be happy – when she talks, it’s with a “sing song” voice that just makes everybody elses day seem a little bit better.

To give you an idea of just how happy she is, a few months ago after a prolonged battle with cancer, her husband passed away. Last week her father (who was 94) had a heart attack and died and even with the loss of those two very special people she hasn’t changed a bit, she still has that smile on her face - it’s just the "way" she is…

We have another co-worker who always seems to be in a perpetual “grumpy” mood. He’s not a bad guy, in fact he’s actually kind of fun to have around the office, a good worker who (as he says), “reserves the right” to grumble…

Of course it doesn’t stop there… We also have “Mr. Serious”, another fun kind of person (except when he “occasionally” gets on your nerves and makes you want to do things like lock him in a closet for the rest of the day, or send him on an all expenses paid trip to Slobovia for a couple of years…)

Lets not forget the co-worker who thinks she’s a real comedian - constantly laughing at her own jokes (I guess she has to since no one else does…) either that or she’s busy talking non-stop about stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with anything…

While I’ve been able to classify my co-workers, my brothers, my sister, my wife, my friends and “other” people I know, I’ve never really sat down and figured out who “I” am… (either that or I didn’t want to face up to who I am…)

I guess it’s something we all should probably take the time to do, sit down and figure out who we are… Then again – do we "really" wanna know ???
