 Pakistan has clear vision against militancy, US told

Pakistan on Wednesday told the US that it had a clear vision and strategy to root out militancy from its soil while at the same time it would not compromise on its national security interests.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani told the visiting US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, in their separate meetings here that the country needed assistance in critical areas of social and economic development.
