I wonder if the Obama Adminstration will go after those at the peer-reviewed journal Science with the same fervor that it goes after Fox News? The article in question calls into question a "critical accounting error" in the way that carbon emisions are calculated worldwide. The finding is that biofuels release as much, if not more, greenhouse gas per unit of energy then fossil fuels.

The article also reports another finding and cites a study that the majority of the world's forests will be gone by 2050 due to deforestation. This is due to the fact that biofuals are generally grown in developing nations where emissions aren't capped. This means that cap-and-trade is not only self-defeating but it also risks creating a real ecological crises.
