Ok, I'm not some pro movie critic who blah about things that most moviegoers (like me) don't understand like cinematography, musical scoring, lightning, framing (what the hell???) and among other things I don't remember and could not comprehend. These movies are movies I had a real good time watching them and seen them more than twice. Most movies from the list will probabally raise eyebrows from d' intellectual critics (As if!).Nevertheless, these are movies that are fun to watch and guarantee your money's worth- the very reasons why we watch movies. Agree? or not? Whatever!Anyway here you go:
10. Nick of Time (Johnny Depp)- this movie kept me at at the edge of my seat, biting my nails and holding my breath like literally 'till the movie was over.
9. My Bestrfriend's Wedding (Julia Roberts)- it's a romantic comedy- it's Julia Roberts! what else do you expect?? I would say it's one of the most uproariously funny mainstream Hollywood movies to come along in a long while
8. Mama Mia (Meryl Streep)- One thing I'm sure of. It's not the story nor the characters I fell inlove with from this movie. It's the songs and I mean the entire singing part of the movie. I swear I was singing Super Trouper repeatedly for the whole weekends after watching the movies 3 times in 2 days.
7.Face/Off (John Travolta and Nicolas Cage)- This is simply the best action movie I have ever seen, the action scenes are fast and furious plus the story is pretty good. I hardly watch action movies and if I try to I would normally not finish it but this one is an exemption. I, actually, enjoyed it so much that I seen from the beginning till the end.
6. Some kind of Wonderful (Mary Stuart Masterson) It is the best 80's teen movie I've ever seen. It may seem that it is a romantic cliche but it has really good scenes and a great plot. It was so beautiful, so innocent and in a same time very hot.
5. Clueless (Alicia Silverstone)- a story about the most popular girl at Beverly Hills H.S, a superficial airhead-- hmm let me take that back. Superficial, yes. Airhead,no. Doesn't matter how many times I see it, it still makes me laugh and that's worth it all.
4. Moulin Rouge. (Nicole Kidman)- For me the most romantic movie ever made. I cry, laugh and sing each time I watch this movie. This is not the usual love story that can get really boring (Casablanca- hello!). It is entertaining and an experience all at the same time.
3.The Hole (Thora Birch)- This is probably the least pop movie from the list. But one of my absolute favorites. I love how the movie made my heart miss a few beats and the ending that left my jaw on the ground. This film is genuinely frightening and certainly better than any teen slasher movie.
2. Romy and Michelle (Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino) ahahahahahah! OMG I think Imma pee my pants! That's how I will describe this movie. It's so funny it hurts. I never get tired of watching this and I still want more.
1. Cruel Intentions (Sarah Michelle Gellar) I think this film is incridble, brilliant-- it is all that. It is a saucy love story without being tacky. Go get the movie- kick back with a friend, and watch it.
