The Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL have suspended their starting running back, Larry Johnson, for one week for saying gay slurs on his twitter page and also calling one of the reporters the same 'f' gay slur after the Chiefs lost to San Diego this past Sunday. He will be eligible to play again in two weeks when Kansas City plays the Jacksonville Jaguars. Technically, Johnson will not miss a game because the Chiefs have a bye week this week. Thus, this reprimand is sort of like a pseudo-suspension to appease gay rights activists. Of course, the NFL will not suspend Johnson any further because football is a sport that is supposed to be real macho and that is watched by real men. The NFL and the Chiefs claim that the situation is being dealt with seriously, but he will not miss any games. He should miss some games for being an idiot. There is no need to bash homosexuals more; their lives suck anyway.
