Mariam's father Vakhtang Makhniashvili is still a firm believer that her daughter has been abducted, a beleif that was reinforced with Mariam's backback being dicovered at Young - Eglington square on October 8. The latest development in the ongoing investigation came when police also seized 27 computers from two Toronto libraries yesterday. Twenty-one computers were taken from the Frum branch and 6 from the Forest Hill branch in hopes that her usage on the computers will lead to links in her case.
