First Afghan died of Swine flu

KABUL: First case of swine flu pandemic in Afghanistan has appeared when an engineer died of it, health department said Wednesday.

Farid Rahid, the health ministry spokesman said that the pried emgineer was the resident of Kabul working with a construction company.
Sources said the man who was infected by swine flu died in a Kabul hospital on Tuesday,adding he had close relation with foreigners as he was their employee working with them.

The report issued last week by UN's World Health Organization (WHO) said that almost 5,000 people across the glob had so far died from swine flu infections since the virus was uncovered in April.

South and North America is on tope where Most of the fatal cases have been recorded the UN health agency reported.

It is sad that an afghan Engineer died of Swine flow as there is less facility in Afghanistan Health sector. Afghanistan Health ministery should Mobilize Afghan people to avoid themsleve from this disease adopting some special ways.
