UK Facebook Murder: Sex Offender Caught

British police are holding a convicted sex offender after he confessed to murdering a 17-year-old girl he met on Facebook, posing as a fellow teenager. The 32-year-old blurted out "I've killed a girl" after being picked up for a car insurance violation. He then led police to a field where they found her body. He allegedly used gaffer's tape to gag her, and he dumped her body in the field after she "accidentally" suffocated. There was no indication of sexual assault. "No one can imagine the hurt and devastation that has hit our family," said the victim's mother. "Tell your kids to be careful on the Internet. Don't trust anybody and don't put your children on Facebook or other sites if they are under age. We have learned a terrible lesson. We don't want any other child to be a victim."

    Stories like this make a good argument for not letting your children online at all. Unattended kids on the net are prey.

    yes this is really true..but if children use the internet their parents should be very carefull
