Peshawar ,the capital of North West Frontier Province witnesses yet another bomb blast, this time in a congested shopping area which is frequented by women and their children.Meena Bazaar.
This shopping area is very popular and is the most congested shopping place especially, at the time when the unfortunate blast occured.86 people have so far been reported victims of the bomb blast.Those that lost their lives were mostly women and innocent children (that accompanied their mothers or other female relatives.)People are still trapped in the fire caused by the explosion and are trapped under the rubble as at least six building collapsed,and rescue work is slow due to difficulty to pass the narrow streets , according to DAWN News T.V.channel.
An appeal for blood donation was announced to those waiting outside the main hospitalof Peshawar,Lady Reading Hospital.
Charred bodies and body parts were brought to this hospital and at least 213 injured fron m which several were desperately in need of blood transfusion.
It's very sad that Peshawar welcomed the refugees and Talibaan from Afghanistan when they were attacked by the Russians and those ungrateful people are killing the very same generous hearted people who had given them shelter !
