42 terrorists have been killed and a huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered during the security forces operation in South Waziristan Agency.
One soldier also embraced shahadat and two were injured during operation Rah-E-Nijat. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has directed the NWFP government to ensure adequate supply of essential food items and other required commodities to the displaced persons of South Waziristan. and in Tehsil Baizai of Mohmand Agency, nine terrorists were killed and two security personnel embraced shahadat in a clash. Reports say the terrorists had attacked a check post in Bairmai Area, which was repulsed by the security forces.
