Ace director Raj Kumar Santoshi can’t stop praising his Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani lead actress Katrina Kaif. With tongue firmly in cheek, he raves, “When we started shooting for the film, Katrina had come on the sets with five back-to-back hits.
On the other hand, my last 2-3 films had flopped and hero Ranbir’s Saawariya also hadn’t worked. So we would feel hesitant about asking her to give another take. With baited breath, we would ask her, ‘Katrina is it possible for you to give us one more take’? From her gestures we would understand if she wanted another take or not.”
Katrina, however, frantically clearfied saying, “It’s a joke. I would give Rajji all the retakes he wanted; and never say anything. I have too much respect for him.” The film is a romantic comedy in which Ranbir’s character, Prem, is head over heels in love with Katrina’s character, Jennifer.
