The CIA Lied

It has Recently come into light that the CIA failed to inform Congress about some of it's activities. What a government office lying, now who's heard the before? Even more so it was some of their spying activities that were left out of the conversations.

Did I mention that their are laws that require them to brief Congress about certain types of missions, and spy activities are definitely on that list!

It wasn't till a senior intelligence offical "came out of the closet" with it that we knew about it. How fair is that?

To make matter worse it wasn't just on incident that was not reported but several. Well it's ok, there doing it now, they had to get their stories straight and hide the bodies.

The House Intelligence Committee had even deployed a investigation over the summer after a house speaker exclaimed that the CIA had lied to her about advanced interrogation techniques that were used on hostages/detainees.

With that investigation it turned up that there was a total of five incidences that were not reported, one of which involved targeting the leaders of the Al Qaeda.

I would love to believe that this is not true but once again it's the government and you never know what your going to get! There is even some Republicans saying that it is a cover up for Nancy Pelosi, who cried liar, liar, pants on fire at the CIA. They are saying that it's just a way to shield her from the criticism for once again Calling the CIA liars, wow she's got enormous girl balls.

Personally I think we should be able to criticise our officials, being that WE elect them and all. Beside that matter what the hell ever happened to the accused? One way government purchased ticket to Canada, ey? well maybe not, but seriously where are the reports?

Think about it for a minute. If you were involved in global intelligence operations, in which the slightest leak could mean the lives of your operatives, or the compromise of informers that took literally years to set up, would you really tell ANYBODY in Congress?
