Week six was the first of two double elimination weeks for the celebrities and their professional dancers on "Dancing with the Stars". The couple with the lowest score was eliminated and the two couples with the next lowest score performed in a dance off for a chance to be saved by the judges for another week.
Taylor Swift opened the show and after a recap of the events from Monday night's performances Joanna and Derek and Mark and Lacey were the first couples to learn that they were safe for another week. Donny and Kym and Aaron and Karina were the next couples to be saved.
A group of Grammy Award nominated young men - Tiempo Libre - who have left Cuba performed next and the last two couples to be saved were announced as Mya and Dmitriy and birthday girl Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel are safe for another week.
Melissa and Mark was the couple to receive the least amount of votes leaving Michael and Anna and Louie and Chelsie as the two couples who would compete in the dance off.
First up was Michael and Anna who performed a Samba that Len called very enjoyable. Louie and Chelsie took on the Jive that left judges wishing for a little more in the way of content.
While Bruno chose to save Louie and Chelsie, Carrie Ann and Len saved Michael and Anna making snowboarder Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower as the second couple to be eliminated.
On next week's show the celebrity stars will design the costumes the couple will wear, the team dance returns along with the solo dances and there will be another week of double eliminations on the results show.
