Indians had known it all along and America has now woken up to the realization. Yes, what is commonplace in Indian homes are shunned in the West but, studies have now proved that what Indians continue to do even today could be emulated by the West. It would go a long way into making for a more pleasant environment and reduce carbon emissions. It is the simple clothes line – hang the clothes there and begin to dry your clothes out in the open. Could be on the roof or on the balcony or, even in the garden – reduce dependence on automatic driers and help the world. Drying of clothes in the open is one of nearly 17 different domestic areas identified which, if controlled, can reduce carbon emissions drastically.

Clothes lines are not new to Americans. Up until the mid 70's most people still hung their clothes out to dry in the Summer time. Then the mechanical dryer became more popular and was more time saving so people started to use the dryers. Now more Americans are trying to save the environment and save money so they are now haning their clothes out on the line once again.

So there will be more and more wet clothing, garment and undergarment displays in residential areas. What if the condo/apartment is both for residential and business purposes?
