International Forces or we ourselves?

There have been lots of demonstrations and protests against International Military Forces condemning that they have burnt some pages of Quran, the Holy book of Muslims, in Kabul, Balkh, Jawzjan, Nengarhar, and Ghor provinces of Afghanistan, while being in an anti terrorist operation in Maidan Wargak and Kunar provinces. Hundreds of Kabul University students have attended the demonstrations and lots of other common people joined them who are thought to be backed by the government opposition groups or political parties. There have been reports of violation and warfare between the protesters and police resulting injuries at both sides. The Demonstration seems to be standing on a very weak base (according to the reports of Azadi Radio: http://da.azadiradio.com/archive/local_news/20091025/1090/2118.html?id=1860523; and Wahdat.Net’s website: http://wahdat.net/index.php?page=news/afnews.php&id=3295); which now is thought to be the opposition groups' conspiracy to anarchy and disturb the normal living of the citizens. The government of Afghanistan appointed a special committee for assessment of the issue, and the committee's report says the International Military Forces have not burnt the pages of the holy book while arresting four insurgents during the missions.

Lots of citizens were badly disturbed by the demonstrations, traffic faced blockades and roads closed many times resulting to lots of serious problems for the citizens - for some, losing their lives; and for some having serious disorders in their regular tasks; health, meetings, parties, etc.

I wonder where the Afghan Youth are while tens of Muslims die in suicide bombings and roadside mines; when women are violated by the warlords; when teenagers are abused or raped by the ones who are in power; and while children are reported to be used as parapet in military operations in western Afghanistan by the oppositions. I wonder when will the time come when the Afghan Youth stopping these nonsense acts, find their right way to have their times and efforts in rebuilding and rehabilitating Afghanistan instead of participating in and standing for such baseless and fake reports; and I wonder when will the time comes when they stop being misused by various political processes and parties.

God bless us all!
