Suicide attack on Afghan governor's house,3 killed,another bomber arrested alive
JALALABAD: At least three people, including a suicide bomber killed, and another arrested alive when two suicide bombers attacked on governor house in Jalalabad province of Afghanistan on Monday, Police said.
Sources said that two suicide bombers entered into the governor house and opened firing killing two police men at the first gate and proceeded to target the main target, believe to be Gul Agah Sherzai, the Ningrahar governor, officials said.
Taking immediate action police cordoned off the area and stroke on the gunmen, killing and the other captured alive.
Meanwhile, militants busted in a private hotel where the election campaign for Karzai was consulted, sources said. “ Prominent Ningrahar elders and high officials were the part of the election campaign meeting to propagate for their lord karzai”, an elder on the condition of anonymity said. However, no casualty occurred in the incident. The attackers flee the scene after they attacked on the meeting.
Later, security forces controlled the situation and started search operation to detain suspects across the province
