Why I don’t like making money – Citizen Journalism by the Babel Fish.

Today I had a reminder that I had become a member of Allvoices, months back, the reminder was a cash making incentive. I do have a great problem with that as I am a dedicated Citizen Journalist of who has been using News communities since the release of the so called Internet 2.

I initially started under the name of silkmesh and then later Babel Fish, there may be people here that know me as an article writer with a history of thousands of my own articles and opinions. I am a reporter and a true blue Citizen Journalist experienced in publishing on most of the well known news groups.

My problem is concerning what Allvoices consider what citizen journalism is all about. It’s certainly not making cash and certainly has no tie to any forms of incentive other than obtain just one or more readers.

Those people that know me, know that I write article that make people think, articles that show the other side of the coin. I do that from a center point position and try not to be biased.

I have also wrote this small article to show the other side of the coin concerning those like me that write article just for readership. The real citizen journalist that can write about any subject or articles of real news not far from their door step. Such as poverty and feasta’s and human life stories about culture. Then those stories we do not wish really to see or apart of, such as disasters that concern the loss of life or horrific injuries.

Please accept the fact Allvoices administration that I can not write my own articles here as you pay compensation. It does not suit a citizen journalist and it’s not what citizen journalism is about. That would be term as amateur journalism and you are seeking cheap labor to produce news mainly I note from the mainstream media on your web site.
