Indonesia Gov Go Open Source
Indonesia Government wants to change the Operating System of all their computers. It is said that it will decrease their budget until 60%. they choose open source system because it is free and the system is open. Although it is free, they said they will need some budget allocation to give the workers some training. Because lot of Indonesian still not very familiar with open source system.
Their target to change all of computer with open source and giving the training is until 2011. Let's see if this program really decrease the piracy number in Indonesia.
