ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit has elaborated that suicide blast incident in Iran would not affect Pak-Iran relations.
Talking to state run TV Channel here Thursday, he informed that Iranian Vice Interior Minister will soon visit Pakistan and during his visit the recent incident of suicide blast in Iranian city Sistan would be discussed.
He also stated that Pakistan has long standing brethren relations with Iran and the suicide blast would not affect the bilateral relations between both the Islamic neighboring countries adding that cooperation between both countries has been going on to eliminate the terrorists elements.
While talking about the recent statement by Indian Interior Ministry, he informed that India has not provided any new dossier regarding Mumbai terrorist incident and Investigations have been in process according to evidences as India has already provided adding that Pakistan also aimed to punish the elements responsible for Mumbai attacks.
Foreign Office Spokesman talking about Pak-America meeting to be held on 23 October to 24 October informed that American Special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrook has reiterated in Istanbul meeting to support Pakistan in the energy sector and this meeting has been designed with the same perspective.
