Kerry Lugar Bill in the public court today.

The 170 million people of Pakistan from Khyber to Karachi and from Chitral to Gawadar will give their verdict in the best national interests of Pakistan whether to oppose the Kerry Lugar Bill or accept it.

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan is going to hold public referendum on the disputed Kerry Lugar Bill in all over Pakistan here on Friday. Ballot boxes and ballot papers have already been prepared and dispatched to every corner of the country.

The ballot boxes will be put in front of every mosque and in the crowded squares. People will be asked on loud speakers to give their opinion in form of ballot paper in favour of the Kerry Lugar Bill or oppose it. The voting process would take place from dawn to dusk.

The media groups and reporters have been invited for the coverage of the referendum and to monitor the process of voting and counting to ensure that the referendum has been conducted in a fair and transparent manner, which will show the real verdict of the masses in Pakistan, JI leader Zarnoor Afridi told, He was sure that people of Pakistan would out rightly reject the bill, which he said was a price of our nuclear program and sovereignty.

The ballot paper says that I reject or not, about the Kerry Lugar bill on the name of aid as a treatment of slavery, Drone strikes in FATA and the massacre of the innocent tribal people, the terrorist organization of Black Water and its net work in Pakistan, the illegitimate expansion of the US embassy to build a fort in Islamabad, for the personal interests of the ruling class and the pro -US policies. There are two boxes in which every voter would tick in the Yes or a cross in the NO.

Majority of the people in FATA have expressed their opinion to reject the Kerry Lugar Bill because all the major political parties and the army have opposed some of the basic clauses of the bill as against the sovereignty and nuclear program of Pakistan.

The people in FATA are also of the opinion that Kerry Lugar and other aids have no concern with the development of the backward tribal areas. So they say that for the luxurious life of the elite class and the rulers they would never agree to accept all the aids why not it is in form of Kerry Lugar Bill.

The rubber stamp parliament of Pakistan and the ruling party has probably agreed to accept the Kerry Lugar Bill, but the people of Pakistan from Khyber to Karachi and from Chitral to Gawadar will oppose the aid to enslave them. Pakistanis are proud to live a life of starvation but would not prefer to slavery for financial gains. So lets see what the vast majority of the people in Pakistan decide about the disputed and controversial Kerry Lugar Bill.
