To some extent, or another, every successful person has an ego. However, most of those people are not "egotistical," or "cocky." Looking at the past several months, there is no doubt the Obama Administration and especially President Obama himself (as the leader of the country), has surpassed being "cocky" and is a full on "egomaniac."

Today, the press pool, which has existed for fifty plus years, in order to insure the media is getting the White House's message out to the people, interviewing certain cabinet members and is an overall interviewing machine came out, in order to find out where they would rank/draw. However, it was announced, during the press pool conference Fox News would not be able to interview (in a sense, taking them out of the Press Pool) any of the White House staff/people. This, on the heals of the White House coming out, in full force, stating, "Fox News is not a news organization, at all." A statement they have not backed down from. Taking Shawn Hannity, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly out of the picture (maybe not sending White House staff for interviews with them), is understandable, as they are "OPINION NEWS PEOPLE." However, Chris Wallace and the countless other news men and women at Fox are not only news people, but they are some of the top people in the "news field" (winning countless awards, since it's inception).

Another example, is the fact Barack Obama's minions (Axelrod and Emmanuel) went out on the Sunday news shows and stated the Bush White House was at fault for Obama having to "start the Afghanistan strategy from scratch." Come to find out, after Dick Cheney explaining the whole Bush/Cheney military team worked hand in hand with the Obama transition team (and Barack Obama himself) to make sure and have a strategy, for him to be able to take office and start running with Afghanistan plans and a new strategy on the ground. However, the Obama people asked, "Please keep this confidential and do not announce this to the press," and the Bush people agreed, in good faith. March came and President Obama named Gen. McCristol, as his main general on the ground in Afghanistan, kept Gen. Petreaus in his job (as Cent. Com. Commander) and also (for the first time in history) kept Secretary of Defense Robert Gates (from the Bush Admin.), then implemented the strategy the Bush and Obama people agreed on. However, now Obama is blaming President Bush once again, going against the original deal of keeping things away from the press, because he does not know whether to deploy the 40,000 troops his generals want, pull out, or the other option of leaving things as they are. The hubris of Barack Obama to blame others, for his shortfalls (once again, looks more and more like a huge ego and thin skin).

There are other examples of the Barack Obama White House "ego trip," but the last one (I will write about) is health care. A situation that is one sixth of the American economy, the people have spoken on the "Government./Public Option" at a 62-64% no vote/polling, and yet the Obama people, congress and senate are still trying to ram the public option thru, by using the A. M. A. (which only represent about 30-35% of doctors, in America), false advertising (one by MoveOn.org stating 72% of Americans are for the Public/Government. option), and just an in the American's face approach, of "we will do what we want now, with the majorities, because we may not get another chance." This is not good government, government for the people, but it is a President (who is gallivanting all over the country, doing fund raisers for the Dem. Party, Gov. Corzine of N. J., and running around in full campaign mode stating how things should be, rather than how they are) full of himself. The fake fight with Fox News should be so far on the back burner, when people need jobs, don't want Public/Government. Health Care, we have a $1.4 trillion addition to the national debt (just this year), and countless other problems.

Lastly, to just show how Egotistical Barack Obama is, look at what he said about Cap and Trade. "I know that heating costs will go up for Americans, but it is more important to do this now, rather than wait." So, screw the Americans, in a recession, with 10% unemployment (in some states, like Michigan and California it is over 15%) after promising "if we pass the stimulus bill, unemployment will not go above 8%", and he continues to hire czars (without senate/congressional approval) even though Americans are not for these people either. It is like Obama just continues to fast track every single issue, the democratic party and he wants, as he knows, once America realizes what he is about, believes in, and wants for America, they will turn on the whole party in an instant. Thumbing his nose at most Americans, staying completely out of touch, with what Americans want is what Barack Obama and his cronies are all about. This is just the definition of a narcissistic man, who has never had any money, just quip pro quo deals (from college, to the Chicago corrupt political system, to the Presidency), so how could he care for Americans and what America has stood for, for over 250 years.

You know what I think? I think there's a lot of conservatives in this country who decided back in January that no matter what, they were going to hate Obama. Why? Probably out of spite for all of the criticism Bush took over the years. And I think you can chalk this article up as another example of that. You can't sit by idly while some a****** messes up the place and then get mad at the janitor trying to clean it up. Also, your fabrication of the truth, coupled with the subtle racism in your last paragraph leads me to believe that you're projecting your own character flaws (narcissism) on to the person you unjustly despise.

Or maybe you're right. Maybe the guy who is bringing about a new age of international diplomacy, the guy who received the Nobel Peace award, is actually on a huge ego trip. That's definitely more believable.

Then again, maybe you are correct, as I am sure he deserved the Nobel Peace prize altogether. Or maybe, the 26 rounds of golf he has played, 6 vacations, the sending Robert Gates to a NATO summit (hat in hand for them to anny up troops, without himself making a decision after two years) is the right choice? Or maybe, bankrupting the country, by letting the congress run the health care bill, rather than he/himself carving out a piece of legislation (which would have been his first, since being in the federal senate and president, unless you count GITMO, which is still open), as a win/something to be proud of. Then again, maybe it is him wanting congress and the senate, to spend $1.4 trillion extra dollars to the defecit (not counting him, with Cap & Trade, Stimulus, Omnibus, etc...etc... which has cost the country more than all the wars, the U. S. has been in TOTAL) deserves some kind of Nobel Prize? Then again, maybe I was right to begin with. By the way, know your author before using the "democratic hammer of yelling racism" (as you do not know me, my color, or my families color). Not to mention, I am a registered INDEPENDENT.

As for "the janitor cleaning up," aside from the World Wars, there has not been a President who had more problems (that were huge), than G. W. Bush (not that I liked his fiscal spending in his second term, especially). However, with 9-11, Iraq (which can be debated, but civil rights wise, it was the correct decision, as at least there is not constant torture and rape rooms), Afghanistan (which Obama said was a war of neccessity), Katrina, and then talk to the to the other Dems. (Frank, Dodd, Pelosi, etc..etc... about their pushing Fannie and Freddie to crush the housing industry, banking industry, all under their watch, for two years).

Although, I must beg to differ on the "deciding in Jan. not to like Obama," as I wrote articles for three months (before Newsweek and half the country starting saying, "WE ARE ALL SOCIALISTS NOW."), on the U.S. should give Obama a chance, to prove he wasn't a left leaning, ego maniac, who has not made any concrete decisions, except spend us into oblivion. Just wait until the bill comes due, and inflation kicks in. Then come talk to me. Ok? :) Peace, DMAN
