Obama signs veterans health care budget reform act in Washington

Why is all of America up in arms over the health care reforms? I thought doctors went to school for several years to be able to help people, not just to amass large quantities of personal items. Why is it that the insurance companies charge extreme premiums to not pay on services submitted for health care, I thought that was why they were implemented, to aid us when needed? Why wouldn't we want all people to have adequate health care, what's wrong with this country when we can't care for our own sick, when every other country that has gone through this has proved it successful?

The cost for medical/dental care is ridiculous, the costs, alone, for the very same prescriptions that are to make you better, are beyond your reach financially. People are forced to choose between prescriptions which can save their lives and food to eat which does the same thing. Why??? We should want to help our fellow Americans, everyone has the right to adequate health care, or we should, anyway. The reform will help to do this, so, why is everyone so against it?
