WANA: Security forces operation Rah-e- Nijat is continued against militants in South Waziristan. Ten more militants were killed during the action today.

The sources said more then 100 militants including six foreigners have been killed so far. A security official has been martyred and two wounded during clashes.

According to reports, militants attacked security forces check post in Sherongi Narai area. Two militants have been killed in retaliatory action of the forces. One security official has been killed and two injured during a clash between forces and militants in Kotkai area of South Waziristan. Seven militants also killed in the clash.

Meanwhile, force with heavy artillery pounding militants hideouts in Razmak and Shakai areas. Several hideouts have been destroyed in the shelling.

In South Waziristan, jet fighters and gunship helicopters shelled militants’ positions in various areas of Lada. Security forces advancing towards Kanigaram Momikaram and Sam areas whereas Nawazkot, Sherongi, Shingowari areas have been secured.

On the other hand, political administration said migration is continued from different areas of South Waziristan.
