MANHATTAN - Attorney Joseph Cotchett filed a lawsuit against Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff saying his Securities office was known as the "North Pole" because it was fueled by cocaine.
The suit was filed Tuesday night in the Manhattan Supreme Court. It alleges as far back as 1975, Madoff had two street guys on his payroll to set up a cocaine pipeline into the offices of Madoff Securities.
Madoff's headquarters are portrayed as an animal house with "a culture of sexual deviance" that had many drug fueled parties with topless waitresses who wore little more than G-strings.
The suit, which was originally filed in June, adds a host of new corporate defendants, including the Bank of New York, JPMorgan Chase, KPMG and Oppenheimer.
Madoff is currently serving his 150 year sentence in a North Carolina prison.
