Nazeih Hammouri, 53, of Vershire is facing a charge of first-degree aggravated domestic assault in connection with a stabbing incident which occurred early Monday morning.
Vermont State Police report that they were called to the Hammouris' residence, which is located on Parker Road, just after midnight and their investigation revealed that Hammouri had stabbed his 19-year-old son Jeffrey in the stomach with a cork screw after an argument over a clogged toilet.
Nazeih had been drinking at the time of this incident.
Nazeih was arrested and then lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility (NERCF) in St. Johnsbury, Vermont for lack of $15,000.00 bail. Nazeih is scheduled to appear in The Orange County Court House in Chelsea, Vermont on 10/19/09 at 1230 hours to face this charge.
