Spy network in NASA and ISRO

Bangalore : India | about 1 month ago

The revelation of spies working in NASA and trying to peek into the labs of ISRO to find out more about the Indian Moon missions through Chanrdrayaan is not totally unexpected. The NASA senior scientist Steward David Nozette, aged 52 years, a PhD in planetary sciences, is understood to have been working for Israel intelligence. He has been taken into custody by the FBI after a sting operation. The rivalry between the super powers, especially America and Russia to prove their superiority in each and every field of science and technology is well known. Other nations try to edge in on the knowledge to try and outdo the others. However, ISRO has indicated that the suspected spy during his visits to the Indian labs did not have access to all the facilities; hence there is no chance of his having gathered any worthwhile and sensitive information that could harm India’s Moon missions.
