Dancing with the Stars - Week 5 Results

Tuesday on "Dancing with the Stars" means elimination night but this week the focus was on the Macy's Stars of Dance which was a tribute to entertainer Michael JacksonMichael Jackson. All 16 professional dancers participated in the tribute; but before they danced some of the professional dancers reminisced on Jackson's influence on the world of dance and choreography. Brother Jermaine also spoke on his brother and sister LaToya introduced the dance tribute. Among the pieces performed in the tribute was "Thriller" which included the zombie dance from the video. Over the course of the series dance couples have performed routines to Michael Jackson's music 17 times.

Nine time Grammy Award winner Norah JonesNorah Jones provided the musical entertainment for this week singing two songs one of which will appear on her new album due out next month.

During her performance last night Kelly Osbourne hurt her foot and was taken to the hospital, accompanied by Dad Ozzy, after the show. The injury was a sprain and Kelly plans on returning to the show should she survive the night of eliminations.

This week four couples were informed that they were in danger - Joanna and Derek (who returned to dance tonight), Aaron and Karina, Natalie and Alec. and Melissa and Mark. As the show neared the end Aaron and Karina and Natalie and Alec learned that they were in the bottom two; but the couple who was eliminated in week five was swimmer Natalie CoughlinNatalie Coughlin and Alec MazoAlec Mazo.

Next week will see the first ever dance marathon to the Mambo where couples will dance until only one is left. Next week's elimination show will see the return of the dance off and the double elimination.
