Pakistan Army Chief's letter to Mahsud Tribes

Mahsuds are main tribe in southe wazirstan agency,where Pakistan army is undertaking offencive against the militants.Chief of Army Staff Gen.Ashfaq Pevaz Kiyani written a letter to Mahsud tribes mentioning their endeavour to make pakistan strong requested the mahsud tribes to not support the militants in their ares.Historically mahsud tribes played a demonstrative role in early days of pakistan.Mahsuds were major part of of Kashmir Jihad and they supported pakistan army in those days by sending their lashkars(tribe force) in disputed kashmir.Quaild-E-Azm also declared them a army without expenditure.They played their role as army of pakistan very well till russian invasion in Afghanistan.But after the exclusion of russian from the territory of afghanistan and later the mixing of foriegners with local tribes ,who came to participate in afghan-jihad,these tribes touched some limits of terrorist activities.Mahsuds as pashtum also have interest in pashtum living other side of hills in afghanistan.Mahsuds has been reamined faithfull to pakistan since the emergence of pakistan.after amercian attack on afghanistan in 2001 pushed many terrorist in the territory of mahsuds and they destablized the situation of this area.later Mahsuds declared Jihad against amercian and their supportive government in pakistan.Bait ulaha Mahsud was one of the famous chief of Mahsud tribe.He started his activities against pakistan and expandad his circle in stable areas of pakistan.Bait ullah was killed in drone attack,and he was succeeded by Hakim ullaha mahsud.who is now directing terrorist expedition against paksitan government.Army has lauched operation and seeking the help of locals.This letter of Pakistan Army chief is good step to address common mahsud for their help aginst terrorism.
