Michelle in pain with the impaled limb of a tree

According to CNN,newly married Michelle Chiders and her husband were out for a drive along the Lochsa riverin Idaho. They were enjoying themselves when suddenly out of the wilderness,Michelle felt severe pressure and to her horror and her husband's bewilderment they found a branch of a tree had impaled through her neck and shoulder. The limb of a spruce tree as though came out from nowhere and crashed through the passenger window into her.It was awful and she recalls that her husband freaked out and they said their last goodbyes.

Nevertheless he drove for one hour until they got to a lodge at the Idaho/Montana border.

A nurse arranged for her to be flown for treatment to a hospital.

It took 6 hours surgery to remove the branch and now she is recovering at home.

It sure was one of those miracles of Nature!

The miraculous part is that he had to drive another hour before reaching a hospital. Drive with your windows up.
