If you watch UEFA Champions League games either tomorrow or Wednesday, then you will notice that every captain will be wearing a "Unite Against Racism" armband to commemorate the 10th Annual Anti-Racism Action Week sponsored by Football Against Racism in Europe. This action week happened at the right time in Europe after the picture of the model in black-face was in the recent magazine in the French version of Vogue Magazine. Racism is still very prevalent at soccer matches all throughout Europe towards Black and Muslim players. (Disrespecting Muslims is maybe why Europe pays 9 euros for a liter of gas!) At games, the cowards in the crowd hurl racist chants at minority players of the other team and also toss bananas at them as well. Why wait until you are at a soccer game to suddenly transform into a racist, you cowards? After watching the videos, then you will realize that the cowards in Europe need some serious help.

Wow, great story, ahol888. Why doesn't American press get any of this coverage? Because it's over there and not over here? Racism, towards ANY ethnic group,, is an ugly thing.

I once dated a real handsome guy ya know/ Very articulate, had good manners, opened doors for me.. good driver and all.. but he was extremely ethnocentric. He had something bad to say about EVERY race. It was pathetic.. Our relationship lasted only 5 months. I couldn't take it anymore.

AHOL888....you seem to have your hand directly on the pulse of the nation..this article is..on Point ! racism is ugly every where..but that goes to confirm..that deep-rooted ignorance runs deep..but this day to shall pass..because with the browning of america growing fast and interacial couples becoming more openly accepted,and the children of these couples being born every minute..eventually the world's population's mentality will change also..and then the ugly head of racism will no longer exist..and will be just a simple pimple.. of bad history..on the future scope.. of a fast and ever changing humanity!
the laws and legislation... of the world will catch up to the racist violators of the past and present.. and then and only then ,will the world.. truly have ..global ..peace!
