Hollywood, CA (BANG) - Bill Murray wants his "Charlie's Angels" director to "die."
The "Fantastic Mr. Fox" actor laughed off recent claims by filmmaker McG - real name Joseph McGinty Nichol - that he headbutted him during a dispute on set, but admits there is genuine tension between them.
Speaking about the allegations, Bill told Britain's The Times newspaper: "It's bulls**t. That's complete c**p. I don't know why he made that story up. He has a very active imagination."
"He deserves to die. He should be pierced with a lance, not headbutted."
Bill divorced Jennifer Butler - the mother of his four children - last year and doesn't think he will remarry.
The 59-year-old star said: "I'm not really interested. I don't know if I'll ever get married again."
Earlier this year, McG - who directed Christian Bale in 'Terminator Salvation' when he made his infamous outburst against a lighting technician - admitted his film sets are always explosive, recalling the incident with Bill.
He said: "I don't think there's been a film I've made where there hasn't been some kind of physical fight. I mean, I've been headbutted by an A-list star. Square in the head. An inch later and my nose would have been obliterated. It was Bill Murray. You know, it's a passionate industry."
