US Troop Deployment cancelled

More than 3,000 U.S. troops scheduled to deploy to Iraq won't go after all, as the military tries to draw down troop levels in the war-torn country, a Pentagon spokesman said Saturday.

Prelude to a full withdrawal of ground troops by August 2010 ... better late than never, good to see that the Hawks in the Pentagon are having their wings clipped.
