Another DWTS Dancer Down
Over the past few season the injuries and illness among the professional and celebrity dancers on "Dancing with the Stars" seems to have increased.
Already this season among the bumps and bruises Mya has had to have stitches in her hand from cut glass, and Tom DeLay has withdrawn from the competition due to stress fractures in his feet.
This past week professional dancer Derek Hough has been absent from the rehearsal studios due to flu like symptoms.
Fellow professional dancer Maksim Chmerikovskiy has stepped in as a relief dancer for Derek. It is not known at this time whether Derek or Maks will perform with model Joanna Krupa on the performance show this coming Monday.
Maksim was eliminated earlier this season along with his partner Debi Mazar.
