Worries of Kolkata schoolgirls

Kolkata : India | about 1 month ago
Views: 54

Girls in senior classes in Kolkata schools are facing a dilemma – how do they get rid of the stains of henna on their hands or the streaks of golden yellow in their hair that they had gone in for to stand out in the crowds during the festivities. Practically all schools have dress codes which have to be strictly adhered to and extend to their hair styles and even ornaments. The school is a revered institution where the growing up children are taught the dos and don’ts of life. Not to indulge in fashion is one of these very important lessons as are multiple ear piercings and log nails. Therefore, with reopening of schools after the Diwali vacations, the girls are a worried lot.

that is ok for hair ... what about the henna on the palms ... the floral designs, at times, go beyond the palms and wrists and can creep up the elbows ... that is definitely out... the girl who has done that has to stay at home till the color fades !!!!!!!!

henna tattoos only last for week. i use it all the time.
i also use henna hair color, which lasts on me for 3 months. but on other people, it lasts for 6 to 8 weeks.
maybe they can wear cute hats and gloves in school until the henna tattoos and hair dyes wear off. gloves and hats are fashionable for fall and winter 09, anyway.
