Purdue Upsets Ohio State

The biggest upset of the day so far in NCAA football is the Purdue Boilermakers defeating the #7 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 26-18. Purdue's quarterback Joey Elliott threw for 281 yards and 2 touchdowns; with both touchdown passes going to Aaron Valentin. Purdue had learned its lesson from last month after failing in an upset bid against Notre Dame when Purdue lost to the Fighting Irish in overtime.

The great thing about this upset is that Ohio St. will not be in a major BCS Championship Game this season. Ohio St. already has two losses, and the Buckeyes have not won a BCS game since winning the championship game over Miami in 2001. However, there is still a small chance that Ohio St. can still reach the Rose Bowl by winning the rest of their games on their schedule. When will the misery end for Buckeye fans?

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, every day would be Christmas. It's not a holiday atmosphere around the Notre Dame football team these days, but there are plenty of ifs and buts swirling around the program as the second half of the season begins.

You would still have the bowl games, only the top 10 or 12 teams would make it and the first playoff games would be bowl games.

ohio state is still one of the better teams in the country. Most people though this was a big year for the bucks. ive thought even before the season started this is more of a rebuilding year for ohio state exspecially their offense.

Ohio State had a Horrific game, I can't believe they turned over the ball so much...Im really doubting whether Pryor should remain starting QB.
