Children in Need Rocks Royal Albert Hall

Children in Need is a charity in Britain designed to aid disadvantaged children. Each year the group puts on an event to raise money to aid the Children in Need program with their goals. In 2009 the Children in Need program rock the Royal Albert Hall with an all star line up. Slated to take the stage for the November 12 to kick off a week of programs for Children in Need.

Slated to take the stage to rock the Royal Hall are Take That, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Dame Shirley Bassey, "the X Factor" winner Leona Lewis, Paolo Nutini, Mika, Snow Patrol, Cheryl cole, Katherine Jenkins, and Muse.

In order to prevent scalping or second venue selling a strict policy of only two tickets per person will be allowed. Fans wishing to buy tickets must first register at www.seetickets.com/childreninneed. Purchasers will be chosen by ballot and winners notified by email. Registration is open until October 20.

Ticket prices for the event are:
£50 for Gallery standing
£85 for Floor standing and Restricted View Circle
£100 for Rear Circle
£125 for Front Circle
£135 for Stalls; and
£625 for Loggia Box Seats

The Royal Albert Hall concert will be broadcast at a later date on BBC prior to the big Children in Need fundraiser on November 20.

    What a positive event. It's great that all these big musicians and artists are taking part. There are so many people in need, and every helping effort counts. If it's for the benefit of those who are less fortunate, it's totally worth it. Hopefully this raises lots of funds for the charity.
