Quansah of Ghana challenges Douglas of Brazil during their FIFA U-20 ...

Ghana has become the first African country to win the U20 World Cup over Brazil 4-3 in one of the best shootouts ever seen in Cairo, Egypt. At the end of extra time, the score was still scoreless at the end of the match, just like in some marriages. However, Ghana held on to win by overcoming a 3-2 deficit in the shootout.

The funniest part about the match is that the game cut into ESPN's programming of Jim Rome Is Burning. Although Jim Rome is a great sportscaster, his hatred of soccer is legendary. The reason why he resents soccer is because he was not able to make the soccer team in high school. Once again, congratulations to Ghana for winning the FIFA U20 World Cup!

Congrats to Ghana. It's a remarkable accomplishment. Brazil is a force to be reckoned with, and any team who beats them in such a big match has a lot to be proud of. I'm looking for this team to keep climbing up the ranks.

Yep, Ghana and Brazil were the finalists in the U17 World Cup as well. Tons of talent on both sides. If you are looking for an underdog to root for in next year's World Cup, then Ghana would be it. Plenty of the players from the U20 team play along with Essien and Muntari; they will devastate opponents.
