The Pakistani government led by Asif Ali Zardari is being stubborn about the controversial Kerry Lugar bill. Even though majority of the Pakistanis have rejected it, they are paying no heed to it.

"They just want money pouring in, so that they can live in luxury", said a man in Rawalpindi

This is sadly true. The president and the Prime minister have both been allocated Rs.119 million to spend on foreign visits. The other allowances are excluded.

The PPP regime doesn't care about the sovereignty of Pakistan. If it was in the hands of Asif Ali Zardari, he would have sold Pakistan on a deed!

Thats sad for an economy that is suffering so much already from underdevelopment due to extremist hindrances and destruction due to active extremist attacks. In these circumstances the lavish luxurious lifestyles of the PM and President at the expense of the masses is totally unwarranted.
