    Life Room

Any horror movie fan knows these movies, "Night of the Living Dead", "Dawn of the Dead", "28 Days Later", the list goes on. However, if you are looking for a unique zombie horror movie experience, I recommend you purchasing "Life Room" available on AMAZON or the movie's official website http://liferoom.ovrnite.com/ just in time for Halloween.

Eric Ray, independent film maker brings "LIFE ROOM" to screen. The movie takes place in Phoenix, Arizona where an outbreak of a zombie infection had spread to the Valley of the Sun from Miami, Florida. The movie does not explain where the infection originates from which is a good angle in any horror movie because this gives it a more scary reaction. Most horror movies try to explain why something bad is happening, like a bad government experiment, and you lose focus on what is going on in the film. The infection spreads across the country and mutiple characters in the Phoenix area seeks refuge in a room in a church called the "Life Room."

Conflicts arise as the characters struggle to deal with each others personalitites while dealing with the loss of their family and friends and dealing with the zombie crisis. The movie does not have any gory scenes like your traditional zombie movie but mainly focuses on the characters and the situation unfolding before their very eyes.

Granted, you can tell by the lighting and sound, this is by any means not a blockbuster but gives you the feeling of watching those spooky low budget zombie movies which are very effective. My only complaint watching the movie, I thought there were some missed opportunities to make some scenes more powerful if the actors uttered a blood curling scream off camera when the zombies attacked an character.

Overall, I enjoyed this movie very much and I am personally adding this to my zombie collection. So the next time, my friends and I have a George Romero zombie movie marathon along with "Resident Evil" and other known zombie movies, "Life Room" is right there in the mix.

So, in closing if you are looking for a Halloween scare and want to give Michael Myers a break this year, try "Life Room", you will not be disappointed.

@psmith cautious about any product/company that claims to be "changing the industry forever". Only 3 or 4 each decade really do that.
