Levon Zurabian: "The Zurich protocols threaten Armenia".

Armenian President visit to Bursa for a football match teams of Armenia and Turkey will not lead to a noticeable shift in the "football diplomacy", except that Serzh Sargsyan in Turkey would be an honor and oriental hospitality.

This opinion was expressed by the coordinator of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabian.

"Zurich rejection" named Zurabian signed on 10 October in Switzerland, the Armenian-Turkish protocols. According to him, the Armenian authorities have made this deal for the sake of opening the border with Turkey, jeopardizing the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide. "This is morally unacceptable process is dangerous and settlement of the Karabakh problem, and in this context, Serzh Sarkissian's resignation from the post of President of Armenia can save the situation," said the coordinator of the ANC.

Pressure on Turkey by the United States is very limited, and Ankara with impunity may delay the ratification of the protocols and the opening of the border, seeking concessions to Yerevan in solving the Karabakh conflict, said Levon Zurabian. According to him, the Armenian authorities carried out the political and economic failures, bringing the country to a serious condition.

Coordinator of the ANC said that in the near future in the Hague International Court for Human Rights will be presented a claim against the second Armenian President Robert Kocharian. "This appeal is about 400 pages, and we are working on the translation of this lawsuit," said Levon Zurabian.

I would like to know how far his allegations are true and how far Armenia and Turkey benefit from these protocols. Isn't there already international recognition of the Armenian Genocide as well? I was under the impression that these protocols were a good sign for Armenia and the regional balance.
