One of the world's largest professional service firms, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, whose list of clients is like a Who's-Who of worldwide industry, has recently released a report, analyzing the potential impact of health reform on the cost of private health insurance coverage. Their conclusions are staggering.
They predict, that on average, the cost of private health insurance will increase:
26 percent between 2009 and 2013 under the current system and by 40 percent under the proposed legislation.
50 percent between 2009 and 2016 under the current system, and by 73 percent under the proposed legislation.
79 percent between 2009 and 2019 under the current system, and by 111 percent under the proposed legislation.
