Balloon kills four in China
Hot air balloons are environment friendly and, when one goes up in one of these airborne machines, one can relax and enjoy the beauties of Nature and watch the birds flying alongside as the balloon passes over mountains, meadows and rivers. That is what the Dutch tourists expected when they went up in a balloon in China. But, their joy was short-lived because, after an hour’s flight, during landing, the fuel in the balloon caught fire from a leak in the tank. Four tourists were killed while three others are in hospital under treatment. The operator who rented out the balloons had the authority to conduct such tours but, this time it did not work out as planned.
