Members of Hamas' security forces patrol a street in Khan Younis

The chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain said MQM will hold countrywide protest if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) accept the resignation of Younis Khan. In a statement, Altaf Hussain said it is regrettable that some elements framed baseless charges against national cricket team captain Younis Khan to defame him which forced Younis to tender resignation. MQM leader said he will appeal the players of the team to resign in protest if PCB governing body accepts the resignation of Younis Khan. He demanded the government to fire the elements present in governing body that fetched the conspiracy against renowned player such as Younis Khan. He also demanded action against chairman National Assembly Standing Committee for sports who accused Younis for match-fixing.
