AT&T complaints against Google Voice could backfire

Whilst AT&T complains that Google Voice doesn't adhere to common carrier regulations in the US; i.e. not available in rural areas, Google shoots back with "it's an application, not a service"

The premise of the attached article is that if AT&T carries on with this, it could end up with Google eating out of its dog bowl ... Google as a national carrier ?

    thanks for comments chaps, although I find Google to be a pretty arrogant organisation, AT&T are one of the most disorganised bunch of primadonnas I have had to work with on projects. At least Google understand that life is a two way street.
