Iqra University

Iqra University is a higher education university located at Defence View Korangi Karachi.It has branches inQuetta and many other cities in Pakistan.

It is chartered by the Government of Sindh in 2000 and recognized by HEC (Higher Education Commission). It is the only University of Pakistan with largest number of branches or Campuses. It has Campuses in all the four provinces of Pakistan and collaborations with foreign universities. It offers a diverse range of graduate and post-graduate courses in Management Sciences, Computer Sciences and Engineering, Education, Media Sciences, and Fashion Designing.

Iqra University departments include Management Sciences, Fashion and Textile Design, Development Studies and Engineering Science and Technology.

All engineering programs offered are Pakistan Engineering Council Approved.

Its owner and Chancellor is a Pakistani business man Hunaid Ali Lakhani. Vice Chancellor is Mr. Usman Esanni, Retired Civil Servant Government of Pakistan. Registrar is Dr. Akif Hassan.

Iqra University has been ranked as top or first By Chartered Inspection and Evaluation Committee Sindh in March 2009.
