Te Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan singh has said that the recent brutal killing of policemen, blowing up railway tracks and burning of vehicles by the Naxalites and the Maoists alike can not be equated to terrorism! what else do you require to qualify for a label like Terrorists? Its very immature of a national leader to say something like this instead of coming down heavily with an iron hand against all those who take up arms and hold the machinery to ransom? Its time that India takes lessons from the neighbouring country China in handling such terror activities. The politicians say something sitting in a heavily guarded chambers in the capital and its the poor front line police constables and the security forces who bear the brunt of the brutal attacks and make their families suffer silently. The Government on their part console the families by sending a Wreath and announcing some relief!
What is the reason for this uprising of disgrunt led elements in the society?
while Unemployment can be assigned the first and the foremost reason, the main reason can be attributed to the ever rising divide amongst the rich and the poor without any justification for equality. In India, the rich are getting richer and the Poor, poorer day by day! The government should pay prime attention to this problem and take effective steps to develop all other states in the Country which is also part of India. For the politicians, India means only Delhi and all the developmental activities centre around the capital and nothing beyond! Thanks to some regional parties emerging stronger whereby some kind of developments happen elsewhere in states like Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu due to sheer bargaining power of the political alignments. The states in the North East remains totally ignored and underdeveloped and it touches your heart when you see people from those states taking up odd jobs like performing Watchmen duties or assisting in Beauty Parlours in the few mentioned front line states. There are no proper roads or infra structure leave alone industries in the North East which forms an integral part of the country! Except during the elections or inauguration of some festivals or games where you can see the central politicians dancing with the locals, there is absolute neglect of these states despite 60 years of independence!! Unemployment and backwardness forces the young, unemployed youth to take up arms and term themselves as Naxals/Maoists and different labels in different states!
Its time that the central government in Delhi distributes the benefits of independence equally amongst states and be a cause for development thereby bringing cheers to the local people and make them come into the mainstream.
To set an example that the government cares, they should first distribute industrial formation equally amongst states and also distribute the venues of the Common Wealth Games equally amongst the states.
The country will prosper only if there is all round prosperity and a sense of fulfillment amongst the entire population and this can be achieved only by equal distribution of Prosperity so that there is peaceful life for the future generations??
