The "Thanksgiving Turkey" three weeks later still hasn't gotten old- see previous article to see what I mean! People are still disecting and rechewing on the old media piece of meat with Obama winning the Prize. Congrats, once again, Mr. NoBama. You have given media outlets everywhere a great distraction from the nation's miserable financial state of unemployment, tent cities, medical care nightmares, and gay rights laws. We applaud all of you for placing our attention on the most important state of affairs, the absurd trophy on NoBama's mantle!
Unless you have lived in a cave lately, you may know the following jewels bestowed from the frothy sharp tongues of celebrities we love to hate. The "Worst Prize Reactions" goes to....
1)Brian Kilmeade: who wonders whether Obama delayed his decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan to win the Nobel.
2)Limbaugh (again) told Newsweek that "the Nobel gang just suicide-bombed themselves."
3)National Review's Andy McCarthy says the prize is already damaged goods, because Yasser Arafat once won it.
4)Mustachioed neocon John Bolton, who could not get confirmed as ambassador to the U.N., said Obama should decline the prize....ooooh, Mr.Bolton, maybe he got the Prize not because he wasn't Bush, but because he didn't have that nutty hairdo!
5)RedState's Erick Erickson went for the race card and suggested it was affirmative action....yea, I didn't see that one coming!
6)Glenn Beck says Obama doesn't deserve the prize, but the Tea Party protesters do.
7)Bill Kristol suggests that Obama will be kicked out in 2012, based on the fact that the Soviet Union collapsed a year after Mikhail Gorbachev won a Nobel Peace Prize....hmmmmm, who died and made you prophet?
8)Limbaugh just comes out and sides with the enemy and says thsi is one thing the Taliban and Iran agree with and that's Obama not deserving the award.
And the "Best Prize Reactions"?
1)Taliban thinks it should be "Nobel violence prize."
2)What happens when you win a Nobel Prize. (lightening strikes)
3)Why this could be the last thing he needs.(promises...promises..more rhetoric!)
4)Maybe he should give it back.
5) Al Jazeera: "I cannot think of anyone today more deserving of this honour"
6)The Prize makes Twitter go nuts and Palin asking, "where's Norway?"
7)The "beer summit" at the White House sealed the deal.
8)Pissed Republicans because McCain didn't get the Prize.
9) Kenya is dancing despite the country's oppresive living condition.
10)the Dalai Lama sent his best wishes.
