Studies have recently shown that H1N1 flu virus can be naturally prevented, if you take the right supplements in order to strengthen your immune system. Statistics from past years show that many children who have died from the flu were found to have been deficient in Vitamin D as well as many of these flu deaths occurred during the wintertime. It is, therefore, important that people take their vitamins, especially get lots of Vitamin D. This Vitamin D can be taken in many forms, whether food, drink, pills, sunlight, and/or full-spectrum lighting exposure.

It is a common fact that people are more likely to get sick during cooler months, especially children. Since the cloudy days of autumn and cooler days of winter tend have less or rare sunny days, many people will come down with the flu, cold and swine flu as well as other illnesses and diseases. One way to combat the flu during cooler months is to try to get thirty minutes of full-spectrum light exposure in order for your skin to get enough vitamin D exposure. And, if people also eat healthy by taking their daily vitamins and eating food with lots of Vitamin D, then they are more likely to have a healthier autumn and winter without being sick.
