In My Opinion! And Mine Alone.

"In this day and time we live in, with all the finger pointing and name calling going on, and yea I'm just as guilty as anybody. It bothers me that 20 to 30 percent of one parties voter pact can sway an election!

Have we come so far, in this great republic that it really doesn't matter to the masses any more, who wins? As long as you don't mess up my American Idol program. The one thing that really bothers me, in twenty years or so that number could be down to 5 or 10 percent.

The reason I say this is, our young people aren't stupid or dumb, they know whats going on around them. They hear all the rhetoric and name calling, going on around them. They go to school or work where the teacher or boss is calling the other party a right winger or leftist, socialist, marxist.

There seems to be no more middle ground, a band called the " Who " said it well years ago, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" thats what we have today, two parties that hate each other so bad, that they would rather see this country divided, than come to a meeting of the minds for the future of this nation.

There used to be one pulpit used to tell America, the best course of action. Now there is a multitude of Bully Pulpits used to divide us. It used to be called a hand out, because your neighbor was reaching out to you, Now its a hand out from the government, the only difference, the size of the hand shouldn't matter.
